Gourmet tasting soup in under 10 minutes and under $5

You will need a blender or hand mixer type of gadget.
A pot.
A spoon to stir and serve.

1 can tomato soup
1 can diced tomatoes with herbs and spices
1 jar pesto

1. Empty can of tomato soup in pot and put stove on medium heat.

2. Use your blender to purée the tomatoes (the consistency is up to you). Add to pot and stir well.

3. Add pesto (to taste). Stir well.

4. Heat to just before the boiling point and serve.

p.s.  I added a dribble or two of cream.

Nom nom nom!

$6.24 DIY Project

During a recent visit my mum asked if she could have the horse pictured above.  Her reason:  Because I love horses.  I said no.

I happened upon these bookends at Value Village.  I immediately knew what to do with them.

First I painted them black.  It doesn't look black in the photo due to the sun (the sectional is black also).

I did a touch up on the black coat.

Then gently ran my brush, with silver paint, over the horses head and necks.

I screwed up at one point so I had to start over (just the section).

Here is the final result.  It could use a coat of matte varnish or polyurethane but my supplies are packed (moving out West).

Mum just arrived for a visit and she is very excited about her new bookends!

L'oréal Revitalift Miracle Blur.

This stuff is magical..... It's photoshop in a primer. I have no idea how this works; just know that it does!

The before and after photos I took did it no justice, so I've left them out.

You'll just have to trust me on this!

This was purchased with my own money, and this review contains my opinions.

Facial cleansing wipes that even remove eye makeup.

Just as good as the expensive ones.

Get'em at Dollarama.

Got this cute summer bag in the clearance section at Walmart.

Looks handcrafted and unique.

The back side is plain.

Great find!
